Description
So, I got it in my head that I would start an army for my son who is 19 months old. And I thought to myself what would a child want to use in a game. Seemed pretty obvious to me, a space marine riding a giant wolf. Its what I would of wanted to play as a kid and in fact space wolves were my second army when I started and were the ones I had the most fun with growing up. Rooa Mahuin is roughly translated from Gaelic to mean "Red Beast". My son's nick name is bear and he happens to have red hair, so the model was more of an homage to my son than anything else. And now all I need is a grey hunters squad and I can run him as an ally for my Brothers of Sanguinor.

have checked out the ally rules. No real surprises for the eldar there, except for the dark eldar and tau being battle brothers!
Dark eldar I can kinda understand, as they are different sides of the same racial coin so to speak (and any eldar would rather see the death of another race than one of their own - even from the other side of the line like the eldar and dark eldar are to eachother), but Tau was definately a surprise!
I reckon there is going to be some new kind of plot hook in the next eldar and tau codexes to explain this. I know once that eldrad said he looked on the tau as the inheritors of the galaxy (or something like that) and was protective of them because of that, but I don't think that explains them being battle brothers. Allies of convenience maybe...
